How to Apply for Distance and Online MBA
For getting an admission in Bharathiar University Distance Education MBA programme, students are required to fill in the application form.
Applications for both modes are submitted online. Use the Distance MBA application link for ODL admission and the Online MBA application link for OL admission.
- Visit the university website and select your mode and program.
- Fill in your personal and educational details. Use your own mobile number and email address.
- Upload the required documents and submit your application.
- Pay the application registration fee online.
- After verification, the university will send course fee details to your registered mobile number.
- Login and pay the required course fee within the time given.
- Download your Admission cum ID Card after payment.
After your application is verified, you need to pay the course fee within a week. You must also download your Admission cum ID Card to activate your admission. Make sure you complete both steps.

Bharathiar University Online MBA Classes and Exams
Online MBA classes are conducted online. Students get video and audio content, e-books and PDF study materials. A discussion forum is also available to ask questions and clarify doubts with coordinators.
Online MBA exams are conducted online. For the August 2026 exams, students downloaded the question paper, wrote their answers on A4 sheets and uploaded scanned answer sheets as a single PDF.
The answers were handwritten, so students also needed a way to scan and upload their answer sheets. For your exams, follow the instructions given by the examination department for that session.
Distance MBA Examination Centres
Distance MBA students appear for exams at allotted examination centres. You can choose from the available centres during the examination process. The examination department decides which centres will be available for each session.
If you live outside Coimbatore, check the current centre list before taking admission. A study centre and an examination centre may not be the same.
