The duration for the MBA (General) course is 2 years, For MBA (Integrated) the duration is 5 years, and for MBA (Executive) the duration is 2 year ( one year theory and one year practical).

The eligibility criteria for the different MBA courses offered by Madras University are as follows.
- MBA (General) – Student must have a graduation degree under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern of education from a university recognised by the UGC/AIU.
- MBA (Integrated) – Student must have completed class 12th education under 10 + 2 pattern of education (For more details, kindly refer the prospectus).
- MBA (Executive) – A student must have completed a graduation degree under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern of education with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
