Admission Procedure
In order to secure admission in the DY Patil Distance Online MBA program, an applicant has to follow a simple step-by-step process:
- An applicant is required to visit the official website and login after filling up basic details, including mobile number and email id.
- After the authentication of the applicant is verified, he/she is required to fill up the admission form by giving accurate personal information, educational qualifications, employment details (if any), recent passport size photograph and self-attested signature. Once the form is filled, he/she will be required to pay the admission fees either via online mode, NEFT or Demand Draft.
- After successful verification of the documents and the fee payment receipt, a confirmation of admission will be sent to the applicant through an email or SMS by the University. Evaluation and Examination Pattern
Evaluation: A student is assessed on a total of 100 marks out of which 40 percent weight is given to formative assessments which have to be submitted by the student throughout the semester. The rest 60 percent is based on the summative assessment or the end-term examination. Formative assessments are in the nature of continuous assessment tests which have to be submitted by the student via online mode.
Examination: The end-term examinations are conducted twice a year at the end of each semester in the months of June and December at the specified examination centres as allotted by the University from time to time. The end-term examination consists of multiple choice questions which carry 40 marks in total and the rest 20 marks are reserved for subjective questions.
