Eligibility Criteria
Graduate from any discipline can apply for MBA Distance Education. The course duration is of 2 years and the medium of instruction will be English.
All MBA aspirants need to complete their programme within a period of four years from the date of enrollment.
In case if someone is unable to complete his/her exam within the given duration but keen to continue the programme, they need to register again by paying the requisite fee.
Self-study is very much important and this particular programme is entirely based on self-study, although counselling classes are also organised for the betterment of learning.
The university is responsible for providing prescribed books and study material specially designed for the programme.

NOTE: The refund policy of ICFAI MBA Distance Programme says that in case after enrolment a student wants to withdraw from respective programme then deduction will be done before refunding any amount. Deduction includes the cost of courseware supplies and admission fee. After 30 days of enrolment, no request for withdrawal will be entertained and no refund will be given to the candidate.
Examination & Test Centers
Using the online facility students can register themselves for each subject for their Computer Based Test (CBT).
As the examination pattern of ICFAI MBA Distance Education is completely computerized, so examination is also offered through computer based tests.
Students who appear in MBA professional programme, must make sure that they do not get any backlogs in any of the modules as they cannot appear for backlog exams in subsequent examination ( they are not suppose to give backlog exam of module I in module III). Therefore, they have to have a clear backlog status in a particular module.
The examination pattern of MBA programme is divided into four modules (Module I, Module II, Module III, and Module IV).
Question paper format includes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), CBT pattern. Every year ICFAI conducts MBA exams four times in the month of January, April, July and October. On www.iusikkim.edu.in/dlp, students can get the details of all CBT exam centers.
As per their convenience students can select their exam centers and time slot, and register themselves for their examination.
