The distance education wing i.e SGVU-DE was established in the year 2012 to help students who can not attend the regular courses but still want to continue their higher education.
The university offers 5 under graduate and post graduate degree programs i.e BBA, BCA, MBA, and MCA, under the distance education mode.
SGVU-DE is approved by the UGC-DEB to offer these courses and conduct the theoretical and practical classes as per the UGC guidelines. They have their own study center located across the Rajasthan to conduct theoretical and practical classes. Although it is not mandatory to attend those classes.
SGVU-DE courses are ideal for people who are doing a full-time job but still wants to continue their higher education without leaving their job OR people who can not join a regular degree program because of the high fee structure OR people who do not have a higher education college in near by places.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission
If you want to take admission in any of the distance learning courses offered by Suresh Gyan Vihar University, you have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
Here is the eligibility criteria for each courses.
MBA: Graduation with minumim 50% marks.
MCA: B.Sc. with Mathematics with minimum 45% marks or possessing technical degree e.g. B.Tech/ BE./ BCA/ Any Master Degree in any Subject.
BBA: 10+2 or It's Equivalent.
BCA: 10+2 with 45% marks having Mathematics as one of the subject.
Admission Procedure

- Students seeking admission in any of the course offered by the University may apply for it online through their official website.
- Students are required to download and fill up the application form for admission. The application form can be downloaded from SGVU-DE website.
- After you filled up the application form, submit it with the mandatory documents and the applicable fees required for admission process. The fee can be paid through debit/credit card, bank transfer, cheques, etc.
- After receiving your document, the university will verify the documents and will send your application for further enrollment process.
- After the enrollment process is completed, you will be issued a student ID. A student kit along with I-card, admission letter and study material will be sent to you via courier within 10-15 days.
